Freedom Museum

The Freedom Museum on historic Main Street is a highlight of the small town of Freedom. Step inside to see an extensive collection of memorabilia and artifacts from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Exhibits include a unique barbed wire collection and a professionally designed archaeology exhibit with artifacts from northwest Oklahoma digs. (website)

Boiling Springs State Park

An oasis on the plains, Boiling Springs State Park captures some of the finest elements of nature. The park is one of seven original state parks built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Named after a natural "boiling" spring that still flows, visitors can view the park's namesake attraction in a natural wooden shelter and interpretive center below the park office. (website)

Gloss Mountain State Park

The Gloss Mountains, sometimes called the Glass Mountains, have a high Selenite content that mimics a shiny glass exterior. Though there are no lodging or campsites located in Gloss Mountains State Park, guests can enjoy the Cathedral Mountain hike from sunrise to sunset. (website)
